BlackSheepCleaner waters, Brighter future
The BlackSheep project goes beyond just effectively cleaning oil from the water surface.it does so by
- avoiding chemicals entirely;
- using the greenest possible methods;
- reaching shallow, hard-to-access waters;
- enabling the recovery and reuse of spilled oil.
All these features are already incorporated in its preliminary design.

Oil spills remain an unavoidable reality. Although the frequency of large-scale incidents has fortunately declined over the years, they continue to occur. Such events are not always detectable, and when they are, the resulting data is not necessarily made publicly available.
